This quarterly, published in 2000, discusses the search for information and works of art by a New England and Rutland, Vermont, based artist and minister named Henry Safford Fiske. This search was conducted by his great-grandson, Stephan Longfellow Fiske, who grew up in New York City but later moved to California. Stephan Longfellow Fiske discusses the search that he undertook to find pieces of art ranging from drawings to oil paintings that his great-grandfather created. On this search Stephan Fiske is also able to put together the story of the life and death of Henry Fiske. Stephan received assistance with his search from the Rutland Historical Society, the Vermont Historical Society, the Unitarian-Universalist Church and other genealogical and New England historical sources. This issue contains many of Henry Safford Fiskeâs drawings and paintings.
